The place where students come for all of their pet needs. Buying a new owl, cat, bat, etc. Or, perhaps, buying pet supplies or treats for the upcoming year at Hogwarts. First year students come here most often.

The most famous of all wizarding banks, Gringotts is the absolutely most secure place to store money. Run by goblins, money is preciously guarded in numerous vaults, and the goblins take their jobs very seriously.

One of the largest bookstores in Diagon Alley, it's where all Hogwarts students can find their textbooks for the upcoming schoolyear, or a curious adult seeking out something new to read may also look here.

Under the school, the dungeons are slightly surrounded with mystery. Every student must venture down here eventually for potions class. It is easy to get lost, as the dungeon has plenty of caves to lose yourself in.

Sub-boards: CAVES, POTIONS, SLYTHERIN COMMONS, HUFFLEPUFF BASEMENT

The ground floor contains the Great Hall, as well as the staff room, which students are not allowed to enter. It also leads to the quad, the middle court yard where students can chat between classes. If you have transfiguration class, it is taught here!

Sub-boards: QUAD, GREAT HALL, STAFF ROOM, TRANSFIGURATION

Two classes are held here; Muggle studies and History of Magic. Detentions are also held in a room on this floor.

Sub-boards: MUGGLE STUDIES, HISTORY OF MAGIC, DETENTION

Contains the abandoned girl's bathroom which is said to be haunted. Feel free to go here if you dare, since it is likely to be empty.

Sub-board: GIRLS BATHROOM

On the third floor, students can find their Defense Against the Dark Arts class and Charms class. This is also where students can find the library for all that studying they will be doing.

Sub-boards: LIBRARY, DEFENCE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS, CHARMS

This is where the study section is, along with the restricted section.

This is where students can find Music class and Art class.

This holds the classroom for the Study of Ancient Runes.

It is said that one can find the Room of Requirements here, but only if they truly need it.

The place to go to when you want something sweet! Honeydukes is a popular place for students to go to when they have the chance to go to Hogsmeade because it has all the sugary sweets they could possibly want. There is even a secret passage there from Hogwarts

A sort of tacky frilly tea shop that is popular with couples for dates. Other than being the hot date spot, the younger, female students are attracted to it's bright colors and fun atmosphere.

An abandoned shack that's a little bit outside of Hogsmeade. Many people think it's haunted and others say that they can hear howls coming from within during a full moon...

A dingy, dank bar where underage wizards are not allowed. Not that any students would want to go there, as it is completely filthy. Professors often go here to unwind.

A pub and inn, it is a popular place to go to amung students as they serve underage wizards (not alcoholic beverages, though). It is a warm and friendly place, though sometimes a little smokey.

A bookstore that students often visit for extra information. Ravenclaws have been known to accumulate in here when they can't find a book in the library. It is usually quiet in here so it can make a good alterior study place.

Level Two: Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The largest and arguably the most important of departments at the Ministry, containing Auror Headquarters, Improper Use of Magic Office, and the Wizangamot Administrative Offices.

Level Three: Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. Any and all accidental or destructive magic is reported and dealt with through this department, including the Magic Reversal Squad.

Level Four: Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. This is the second largest department of the Ministry, divided into the Beast, Being, and Spirit divisions.

Level Five: Department for International Magical Cooperation. This department mainly dapples in foreign affairs, including the International Office of Magical Law.

Level Six: Department of Magical Transportation. The authority on all forms of magical transportation, and includes the Floo Network Authority, Broom Regulatory Control, and the Portkey Office.

Level Seven: Department of Magical Games and Sports. This department is responsible for organizing large wizarding sports events and enforces game-related laws. It includes the British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters.

Level Eight: The Atrium. The main entryway of the Ministry and the main lobby.

Level Nine: The Department of Mysteries. The most secretive of all Ministry departments. Hardly anybody knows what goes on in there, except for the Unspeakables that work in the department.

Land of the Irish. North of England, from which many Hogwarts students come from.

Land of the Scottish. A number of Hogwarts students are also from here. Home of the Loch Ness.

France is a very nice country, as Paris is one of the most popular honeymoon destinations for young wizarding couples. Beauxbatons Academy is located here.

Bulgaria is the home of Durmstrang, and the Bulgarian Ministry is a close ally of Britain's. The two Ministries have been known to swap Aurors and other officials from time to time to maintain strong relations.
