HAIR: dark brown, almost black straight, layered hair that doesn't reach her shoulders.
EYES: medium sized, bright, hazel eyes
BODY AND HEIGHT: She's somewhat scrawny and skinny, and stands at about 5'4".
DISTINCT MARKINGS: -------
CLOTHING/STYLE: When she's not at school and wearing her typical black robes, you will often find that she is quite comfortable in a pair of jeans. She wears a variety of colored tops and sweatshirts, ranging from hoodies to sweaters and whatnot. She likes going barefoot, but otherwise you'll see her in sandals or if it's cold, a pair of tennis or flats. If it's warm enough, sometimes you'll catch her in a skirt, but mostly a pair of shorts or jean shorts will do the trick.
ANYTHING ELSE: She has a strange fascination for airplanes, and is Scottish, but is slightly mixed with a British accent from spending lots of time in London.

DISLIKES: Spiders, potions, history of magic, drama, frogs, homework, Death Eaters, being ordered around, people thinking she's up tight/snooty because she's pureblood.
STRENGTHS: laid back and doesn't get angry easily, she's a fast runner and athletic, and a quick thinker
WEAKNESSES: sarcastic, stubborn, clutzy.
PRIORITIES: good marks, making a good impression, being as good (or better) than her siblings
BOGGART: spiders, her family killed, small spaces
ERISED: (for now) to get all 'O's.
VERITASERUM: She is terrified of being alone - not just on her own, she often does that, but feeling exiled, unwanted.
PATRONUS: a raven, zooming around on broomsticks with her siblings.
PENSIEVE: finding out that her brother had been killed
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: 3+ detailed Being the youngest of five kids, she's got a bit of a thirst to prove herself. She wants to be like her older siblings, looking up to all of them, but then she want's to be different, and outshine them at the same time. She wants to get good grades, be a good Quidditch player, be brave, and stand up for muggle borns, and also be a bit of a rebel to spice it up. She's a girl trying to be too many things at once. Oh, and being the youngest is the nicest, and the most horrible thing in the world, because though she can learn what NOT to do from her older siblings, and what too do, she still feels like the last one, and wonders if people think she's "Just another Wood, nothing special."
Despite this rather quirky personality, she is rather laid back, especially when she's hanging out with her friends, and isn't around her siblings. She likes hanging out in the library, chatting in the common room, a game a chess, or a nice nap. She's perfectly happy to set herself down in the library, and do homework for four hours. Any fight she gets into is extremely one sided; she is extremely calm and agreeable, and will calmly discuss the problem until a compromise can be made, or a solution reached. She's not the girl to pick a fight with for this reason.
However, her soft spot is Death Eaters. She is quick to duel with anyone associated with Death Eaters; especially the dirty cowards who sympathize but won't get their hands dirty. If something is going to get under her skin, it's ratting on muggle-borns, or talking about Voldemort like he's God. Say "Mudblood" and you'll get a fist in your mouth. She has gotten straight "O"s in Defense Against the Dark Arts for four years in a row because she studies it harder than any other subject.
She spends a lot of time flying, because she enjoys it and is a rather good chaser. She often enjoys the company of older students, and hangs out with girls and boys alike, more so guys, but she's not a super tomboy like her older sister. She enjoys dances, and even if she doesn't get a date, she like to go with a bunch of friends. Because she is the youngest in her family, she feels slightly at the trailing end, and a bit like an outcast, so she strives to have friends and not to be left hanging.
She can also be a bit stubborn, and slightly rebellious. She is very resilient to any sort of peer pressure if she doesn't want to, even to the point of silliness. If she disagrees with an assignment, she will often weigh the odds on her grades, and may even not do it. Any sort of group that rebels against Death Eaters or their supporters she's interested in, and one of her dreams is to join the elusive Order of the Phoenix when she is old enough.

MOTHER: Kristina Wood
SIBLINGS: Verona Wood, Oliver Wood (Jr.), Fionna Wood, and Benjamin Wood.
OTHER FAMILY: none
SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS: somewhat wealthy
HISTORY OVERVIEW: Hannah spent most of her young life trailing after her older siblings. She was always the worst in the group, and always felt like she was merely tolerated. When they all played Quidditch, she was always the third, or "extra" in the two on three games they played, because she was less experienced. However, she still loved racing around on brooms.
When she got her letter, she was beyond excited, and followed the footsteps of her sister, Fionna into Ravenclaw. Like her, she was a bit sad, as she was not in the house of the braves like her older brothers, but she soon realized that being in Ravenclaw was a good thing - it meant she was clever. She immediately took to her classes, getting all E's her first year. Second year she upped the anti, and tried out for the Quidditch team but failed; she hadn't slept the night before and unwittingly reached out with both hands to catch a quaffle and the weight of the ball caused her to fall off her broom - she does not speak of the incident to this day.
When she was in her third year at Hogwarts, her life changed. Her brother Oliver, who was five years above Hannah had graduated during her second year, and had decided to aid muggle born witches and wizards. During Hannah's third year at Hogwarts, he was killed by a Death Eater when he stood up for a muggle born witch. This hit her very hard, and because of it, she was forced to grow up a little bit sooner than she should have had too. She developed a passionate hatred for Death Eaters, and a determination to become the best in her year at Defense Against the Dark Arts, spending hours in the library and outside, practicing spells well over her head, often failing, but sometimes succeeding. It also sparked a bit of a rebellious spirit within her, and often she'll try and rally other students to gang up on Death Eater sympathizers and those who are mean to muggle borns.
Now a fifth year, the passion for Defense Against the Dark Arts has not faded, and her drive for good grades hasn't either. Planning to try out for the Quidditch team again, as the previous two years she was rather distracted. She plans on doing several things: getting good grades, practicing Quidditch, and helping muggle borns.

*This is a post fro a different site I was on a while ago with a Character named Lucy.
The first day was a nightmare. The place was quite legendary for getting First Year students completely bamboozled for the first two weeks. Sprinting down the long corridor as fast as he could. Now, where was that one class again? Oh, right....whatever it was called uh, Transfiguration. Really, she knew what it was called. The problem was that every single corridor, and classroom looked exactly the same. It was impossible, how the h*ll was she supposed to find anything around here?
She skidded to a stop, and the bell rang. Staring around, a little wildly, trying to figure out where it was she was supposed to go. The prefects had shown them around, but she was thoroughly lost. Trying to get her bearings, she finally decided that this particular passage looked familiar. Turning down it, she picked up a slow jog. Oh, Malcom and Will were going to be hysterical when they found out about this.
However, luck was on her side. Her heart leaped, and she saw the familiar looking hall in which the prefects had shown them the other day. Sprinting down the corridor, she threw open the door, and ran inside. Everybody looked up. She grinned. "Sorry I'm late," she said a little sheepishly. "The Castle and I haven't been on good terms."
