PERSONALITY OVERVIEW:
daniel is quite a friendly guy, a sweetheart even. his kind attitude keeps him popular in his own house, so long as people don’t have a problem with the fact that he is a muggle-born, which most don’t. he treats most people with respect, so long as they show him the same courtesy. however, seeing as he is easily irritated, he will get snippy and a little rude with people that push his buttons either on accident or on purpose. he doesn’t mean to be rude to people who are just being themselves, but he can’t help it if he finds them annoying. unintelligent people for example, he has no patience for. idiots, morons, they all rub his nerves raw.
being in ravenclaw, he has to be a clever kid, but he isn’t a know-it-all like some of the others in his house. he enjoys his studies, but he knows how to balance them out so he still has time for some fun. whatever kind of fun that may be. sometimes it’s just socializing with his friends, or taking a trip to hogsmeade, or even just spending time hitting on a pretty girl. danny is very flirty when it comes to girls, which annoys some, but appears flattering to others. he doesn’t actually get around like most probably assume, he simply enjoys the game of flirting, and the company of a beautiful little lady.
danny is a rather stubborn boy. when he sets his mind on something, he doesn’t let go of it easily. it isn’t as though he thinks he’s always right, in fact even when he knows he’s wrong, he still feels the need to stick with the point he’s trying to make. it makes him rather annoying in an argument, and that’s why he, or the person he’s arguing with, usually ends up storming away from the scene.
the boy has a rather sarcastic sense of humor as well. and if a person doesn’t share that same dry, funny personality, then they usually won’t understand or appreciate his jokes. he does tend to make more light-hearted jokes in tense situations however, because he feels uncomfortable in serious situations.

MOTHER: annette blake
SIBLINGS: sarah blake + little sister
OTHER FAMILY:
zachary moore + uncle
katherine moore + aunt
julia moore + cousin
SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS: rich
HISTORY OVERVIEW:
daniel adrian blake was born on a rainy march day in nice, france. he was born to a lawyer, julien blake, and a stay-at-home wife, annette blake. they lived in a nice, sizeable house on the edge of the city, where things were mostly quiet and peaceful. Annette stayed home to take care of daniel each day, and even when she had to run errands, she would carry him along with her. as a toddler he was a bit of a troublemaker, but his mother hardly seemed to mind, and his father wasn’t around enough to notice. he would run off and play and hide in places where he couldn’t be found, and he would play little jokes on his mother, that he learned from a few of his friends who lived around them.
when he was six, he lost his mother while she was giving birth to her second child. at the time, he was much too young to understand what was going on, and the only thing he could comprehend was that it wasn’t a good idea to ask his father about the situation. his father only really paid attention to the new baby girl, sarah, now, and so daniel was left to himself or to the nanny whom julien had hired. only when his father was drunken and upset would he pay attention to daniel, and that certainly wasn’t a good thing. julien held out for two years before he started hitting daniel.
daniel didn’t want to lose the only family he had left so he kept his mouth shut about it even as a kid. he was saved from the abuse, however, when his Hogwarts letter arrived when he turned eleven. it was a shock to his father and him, but his father, who already felt guilty enough over abusing his own child, allowed him to go. he even took danny to diagon alley himself, where they spent one of their few father-son bonding days together. his father even took the opportunity to buy him a light orange tabby cat for his school pet, which danny named annette after his mother. when he arrived, he was sorted into ravenclaw, where he easily fit in.
each new year at hogwarts was a special treat for daniel, and he enjoyed every moment of it. one of his closest friends discovered his secret however, about being abused, and they encouraged him to report his father. it took daniel two years to finally do it, but when he got home after his fourth year, he filed a child abuse case against his father with the help of his aunt and uncle. custody of both daniel and sarah was taken away from julien, and the two moved in with their aunt, uncle and cousin.
daniel continued his education at hogwarts, with his legal guardians now fully aware of his status as a wizard. he even did his best to include sarah in the magical world, sending her letters and sweets by owl, and even taking her to the quidditch world cup one year. now he is a seventh year at hogwarts, and he is planning on becoming an auror after he graduates from the school.

Honestly, was it too much to ask that these demigod girls get a taste of fashion and not dress like they were either blind and moronic or prostitutes looking for a hand-out? Apparently so, because Maddi had already done her moral obligation and chewed out four girls for their lack of style and class. And one particularly flamboyant guy who was, in all likelihood, playing for the other 'team'. Wasn't one of those perks of playing on that team supposed to be though that you had a better taste in clothing than most guys? Obviously not for this guy, because clown colored polka dots in the fall...No, correction. Clown colored polka dots EVER. Really? I don't think so. Maddi shook her head to herself in disappointment. Well at least he had received the lecture that he had so desperately needed, courtesy of none other than Maddison herself. Oh, how she had enjoyed reducing him to a stuttering puddle of polka dots.
Smirking to herself contentedly at the thought, Maddi absentmindedly pulled her hair back into a neat ponytail. As usual she had opted to actually participate in training, unlike so many of the other descendents of Venus. While she did certainly agree that this was nothing worth breaking a nail over, it was very important..okay..kind of important. Well, okay, it was sort of, maybe, just a little, important. At least that was what part of her told herself. That little part happened to be the part that was descended from Nemesis. Revenge was only sweet if you really knew how to tear someone to shreds (verbally and physically, of course).
Sauntering over to her favorite section of the field, Maddi was nearly ready to actually start practicing on her archery. Only nearly because some little blonde brat from the Minerva barracks was currently occupying her spot. "Ahem," The older legacy cleared her throat, smiling in a sickly sweet manner. "Don't you have somewhere else you have to be? Somewhere where you won't be, oh I don't know, in my way." Her eyes had narrowed slightly, but the fake smile was still present. Which was never really a good sign, so if the girl didn't interpret the clear message of 'get the hell out of the way' and leave, then things were likely to get a little nasty.
The younger Minerva girl mumbled some unintelligable mess of words before scampering off in another direction (no doubt looking for a friendlier group of training demigods, who had more patience to deal with her). Another smirk crept onto Maddi's lips as she took up an archer's stance. Kids ages fourteen and up around here were fair game for harrassment in her opinion (and some particularly annoying kids younger than that age were acceptable as well). By that age at least they knew enough to stay the hell out of her way. At the Legion where everyone knew everyone at least by name, everyone also knew who to avoid direct interaction with. For example, if you didn't want to get beat up then you would generally avoid Remus. If you didn't want rumors being started about you then you avoided Annaleigh. And well, if you didn't want to be sent back to your cabin crying then it would probably be best to avoid Maddison. Especially if she was in a bad mood, which it just so happened that she was today.
